Will this work in the UAE?
UAE wall outlets are British Standard (Type G, three-pin). This is the EU plug version (Type C/E/F). You'll need a travel adapter to use it in UAE outlets. Designed for European travel.
Is 40W enough for MacBook?
For MacBook Air (M2/M3/M4), yes — 40W is enough for full charging speed. For 14"/16" MacBook Pro that needs 96W+ for full speed, this adapter will charge but at slower than max rate. Pair with Nomad's higher-wattage adapters for MacBook Pro full speed.
What's GaN?
Gallium Nitride is a semiconductor material that's significantly more efficient than traditional silicon for power conversion. GaN adapters can deliver the same power output in roughly 1/3 the volume of silicon adapters — explains how this 40W adapter fits in a 15mm-thick body.
Single port or multi-port?
Single USB-C port. For travel-friendly slim profile, the design prioritises one port at full speed. For multi-device simultaneous charging, look at Nomad's higher-capacity power adapters with multiple ports.

I have had multiple Magnetic phone mounts, this is by far the best one yet. For the price, it is a 'must' buy, it fits perfectly on corner of screen, very tight, never an issue with bumpy roads, sharp curves, etc. You can use mount at different angles, whatever suits your needs.

Secure and great fit
I gave this product a chance and it did not disappoint! I did not need to read any instructions for installation and was able to quickly and easily figure it out. Installation takes less than 5 minutes. Just align the mount to the top corner of your tesla screen and turn the dial to adjust the tightness. Once tightness is set, just test to see if it’s really fitted by wiggling it around to check for looseness. I like the fact that I can adjust the angles of the mount easily. My phone can be angles to be on top or side of the Tesla screen. When driving, my phone does not shake one bit. When it’s time to remove my phone, just give it a quick pull to detach and that’s it. The build quality is also very nice and I like the design of it overall. I think it’s a well thought out product. Definitely would recommend to friends and family with Teslas.
