Bifold vs Card Wallet?
Bifold holds 15+ cards plus cash bills (the traditional full wallet). Card Wallet is the slim cards-only minimalist option (4-6 cards, no cash). Pick Bifold if you carry cash regularly; Card Wallet if you rarely use cash and want the slimmest possible profile.
Will the leather stretch out over time?
No — the thermoformed fibreglass-reinforced core prevents the stretching that plagues typical leather bifold wallets. Initial card fit is the long-term card fit. The leather develops patina but the structural shape stays consistent.
Will UAE/EGP bills fit?
Yes — UAE and Egyptian banknotes are slightly shorter than the 70mm height of the bill pocket, so they fit unfolded. Standard international banknotes (USD, EUR, GBP) all fit comfortably.
How does it compare to a traditional leather bifold?
Traditional bifolds get bulky over months as the leather stretches and the structure deforms. Nomad's thermoformed construction stays the same shape and dimensions long-term. Plus the Horween leather develops a beautiful patina rather than just looking worn.
How does the Horween age?
Vegetable-tanned, minimally treated. Over months of carry, the leather absorbs hand oils and develops a darker rich colour. Pocket pressure burnishes the high-wear areas (corners, fold). After a year of daily use, the wallet is visibly more characterful than day one.

Good product with one exception
I was happy with this product. Easy enough to put together. Provides great storage space. Unfortunately one of the screws it came with was not functional so I've been unable to install both door pulls.

Really nice for the price.
Wouldn’t expect the quality for the price in today’s over inflated world. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not made from rare woods and interesting hand made joinery, but as a cheap cabinet to go in my bathroom in my rental apartment to replace the one that delaminated from the bathroom steam, yeah it’s pretty good. It’s made of what looks like mdf but the finish is what got me, it’s like a heavy spray on lacquer or at least feels like it, which shouldn’t delaminate like a veneered panel. My only complaint is the stickers to cover the screw holes, they could be a bit thicker so they don’t get wrinkled.
