The latest kit to join Kotobukiya’s original Frame Arms Girl series is LAETITIA!
Laetitia is an updated version of Innocentia designed by Humikane Shimada and based on the mecha design by Takayuki Yanase.
Model Specifications:
- In addition to the same default chest part as Innocentia, a larger chest part is also included.
- Three types of pre-painted face parts are included (“Yaeba” Grin/Looking Forward, Tongue Sticking Out/Looking Left, and Subtle Smile/Looking Right).
- Two new hair parts are included (Side-parted Bangs and Side-parted Bangs with Connection Points). The bangs from the Innocentia kit are also included.
- Includes hair parts for a low ponytail and a bun as well as Innocentia’s short hair style.
- The side buns and twintail parts are only compatible with Innocentia’s bangs. They are not compatible with the side-parted bangs.
- Various ear accessories are included (Cat Ears, Mecha Cat Ears, Mecha Fox Ears, Mecha Pointed/Floppy Dog Ears, and Mecha Accessories).
- In addition to the five types of hand parts from the original Innocentia kit, six new types of hand parts are included (Heart Sign, Thumbs Up, Peace Sign, Pointing, Weapon Support, and Salute).
- Three types of neck frills are included (Collar with Ribbon, With Armor, and No Armor).
- Skin tone arm and leg parts are included. Arm and leg parts from the Materia kit are also included.
- A standard length neck part and neck part for use with doll clothes are included.
- Standard bare feet and bare feet for use with doll shoes are included.
- The kit includes decals for the eyes and other markings.
- The 3mm connection points are compatible with parts from the M.S.G and Frame Arms series.
【What is Frame Arms Girl?】
Frame Arms Girl is a spin-off of Kotobukiya's original model kit series, Frame Arms, that creates a bishoujo-style character for each mecha.
The kits come with multi-colored parts and face parts pre-printed with tampography, making them easy to assemble with no paint required.
Equipped with the signature 3mm joints and PVC hands from Frame Arms, Frame Arms Girl models can be combined with a variety of parts from series such as M.S.G (Modeling Support Goods), Frame Arms, and more!

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters.
That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception.
SPOILER:
The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured.
I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action

This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4.
Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down.
There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

Fun read
Format: Kindle
I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Arben was my favorite, although it was a bit sudden how quickly he changed from ignoring her to wanting to be pack. There were almost too many twists/layers of lies to keep track of but I'm looking forward to reading the other books.
The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the need for a bit more proofreading. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.

Good read
Format: Kindle
The book has some good twists and turns, but truthfully I was so confused on some things. It didn't have a good flow for me personally. Not sure if it's due to typos or using him/her wrongly, but I thought Kelly was both a guy and a girl. Actually I still don't know, and it made me incredibly frustrated. It would refer to Kelley as him or he, and then again in another part of the story as her she and sister. On to the next book, I hope there is some clarity and a smoother flow. This is a slow burn, and I just don't know how much I care for the Alphas yet. Idk if I recommend.
