Das "MC19010 Athletic T-Shirt Loopwheel" von THE REAL McCOY’S ist ein Tee der besonderen Art. Der spezielle Jersey wird in Japan auf originalen Rundstrickmaschinen aus den 1920er bis 1960er Jahren gefertigt – sogenannte Loopwheel-Maschinen, von denen heute weltweit nur noch rund 400 existieren.

Die Maschinen arbeiten extrem langsam: Gerade mal ein Meter Stoff entsteht pro Stunde – dafür unter besonders niedriger Fadenspannung. Das Ergebnis: ein lockerer, strukturreicher Jersey, der sich weich anfühlt, dehnbar ist und eine natürliche Elastizität besitzt, die moderne Maschinen nicht nachahmen können.

Durch das ovale Strickverfahren dehnt sich das Material beim Tragen auf angenehme Weise mit und kehrt beim Waschen zuverlässig in seine ursprüngliche Form zurück.

Hinzu kommt: Das Shirt wird ohne Seitennähte gefertigt – für besten Tragekomfort und eine klare, klassische Silhouette.
