You can only play The Journey to the North in combination with the basic game. If you also have the "New Heroes" expansion, you can also play this expansion with 5 or 6 heroes.
The Journey to the North is part 2 of the Andor trilogy. In this expansion you will also learn the rules of the game during the game.
