Das Weingut umfasst etwa 52 Hektar Rebfläche und produziert international ausgezeichnete Weine. Der Finger Lakes Riesling selbst wurde bereits dreimal in die Top 100 der besten Weine des Wine Spectator gewählt. Die Riesling-Trauben stammen aus den Weinbergen White Springs und 16 Falls, die beide an den Hängen des Seneca Lake liegen. Ersterer wurde 2003–2004 auf Kalksteinboden (eine Seltenheit in der Region) gepflanzt und genießt eine östliche Ausrichtung. Der zweite Weinberg hingegen profitiert von seiner Westlage und ist etwas älter, da er zwischen 1998 und 2002 auf lehmig-schluffigen Böden mit Schieferuntergrund angelegt wurde. Nach der Handlese und der Ganztraubenpressung erfolgt die Gärung in temperaturkontrollierten Edelstahltanks, und der fertige Wein ruht vor der Abfüllung einige Monate auf der Hefe. Das Ergebnis ist ein trockener, lebhafter und eleganter Wein mit einem breiten Aromaprofil, das Noten von grünem Apfel und Birne, weißen Blüten und Zitrusfrüchten mit einem Hauch von nassem Stein offenbart. Am Gaumen ist er frisch und mineralisch. Er hat einen kühnen Charakter und eine kräftige Säure. Er ist lebhaft und ausgewogen mit einem langen, erfrischenden Abgang. Er passt sehr gut zu Meeresfrüchten, Krabbensuppe, Sushi oder pur als Aperitif.Shipping Notes

Has the chihuahua puppy seal of approval!

I bought this for my chihuahua puppy who was already a fan of the waffle toy made by this company. Compared to that one, this one is more plush, has a different squeaker sound, and isn't quite as firm overall. It's a really cute toy and she enjoys playing with it. So far it has held up really well to her tiny shark teeth. The material seems both soft and durable. Great for toy and small breed dogs and puppies.

A "Maybe" for smaller breeds. Not for pitties that study and exploit their prey's weaknesses..

Not for my pittie. I wasn't paying attention to the size of the toy when I ordered it. I knew as soon as I opened the box that it wasn't going to work out, but I didn't pay too much more than I would have if I bought it from Ross and I didn't want to fuss with trying to return it.
The weakness in the toy is in the faux fur fabric that forms the main pocket. There's too much space around the squeaker and the fabric is thin enough for a larger breed to puncture through the fabric with their teeth to grip and rip. Once there's an opening in the main fabric, it's game over.
The seams of the toy are good, they are strong and well stitched.
The overall shape of the toy is also good- no appendages to grab ahold of. Only flaws of the toy is the type of fabric selected and too much empty space. May last for toy breeds and small breeds...but not for my pittie. She played with it for 5 minutes to learn its weaknesses and then promptly gutted the squeaker from the fox in another 5 minutes.

Holds up well with aggressive chewers.

This is my dog's favorite toy. And she has LOTS of toys so that is big endorsement. Miss Trina ( 40 pound boxer) loves to squeak it in Enzo's ( big brother 140 pound Cane Corso) face when he is sleeping. They also play tug of war . They destroy the toy eventually ( we are on the third one) but it holds for a few weeks. Miss Trina also likes to par corps around the house with this toy. Her favorite way to use this toy is bring it my husband for him to throw it . If he is napping she just drops in on his face. Definately recommend this toy.
