Jeder kennt die Gefahren, die mit LiPo Akkus verbunden sind, und manche haben sogar schon erlebt, dass ein Akku Feuer gefangen hat.

Der Bat Safe ist so konzipiert, dass Akkus darin sicher geladen und gelagert werden können. Ladekabel werden durch eine flammhemmende Öffnung nach außen geführt.

Im Brandfall kann der Innendruck sicher entweichen.

Dies geschieht über die oberen Lüftungsöffnungen, während der Rauch gefiltert wird, um das Austreten schädlicher Stoffe zu verhindern.

Im Inneren der Box können während eines Brandes Temperaturen von bis zu 800°C entstehen. Dank spezieller Isolierung erhitzen sich Boden und Seitenwände maximal auf 80°C. Das entweichende Gas erreicht eine maximale Temperatur von 150°C.
