Die Domaine du Manoir, am Fuße des Waadtländer Juras gelegen, umfasst 24 Hektar Rebfläche mit Sorten wie Gamay, Pinot Noir, Merlot sowie den Kreuzungen Gamaret und Garanoir. Seit 2021 erfolgt die Umstellung auf biologischen Anbau und wird von der Familie Sother geführt.

Region

Das Terroir von Valeyres-sous-Rances besteht aus Mergel, bunter Melasse und gelbem Jurakalkstein. Diese außergewöhnlichen Terroirs ermöglichen es den verschiedenen angebauten roten Rebsorten, all ihre Eigenschaften zum Ausdruck zu bringen.

Degustationsnotiz

Dieser Schweizer Pinot Noir zeigt Aromen von dunklen Beeren, Gewürzen und feinem Holz, mit samtiger Textur und gut integrierten Tanninen. Ausgebaut in Schweizer Eiche und unfiltriert, bringt er das Terroir der Bonvillars-Region authentisch zum Ausdruck. Er passt hervorragend zu gegrilltem Poulet, Wildgerichte oder Pilzrisotto.
