Ein 2017er Burgunder in der Magnumflasche — das ist ein kleiner Schatz fuer geduldige Geniesser. Das Clos du Moulin aux Moines hat diesen Bourgogne Rouge bewusst spaet freigegeben, und die Reife steht ihm hervorragend. Biodynamischer Anbau, traditionelle Vinifikation, kein uebertriebener Holzeinsatz. Die Magnum-Abfuellung verlangsamt die Entwicklung und bewahrt die Frische ueber die Jahre.

Nach bald neun Jahren zeigt der Wein, was Geduld bewirkt. Die Frucht hat sich von primaerer Kirsche zu getrockneten Rosenblaetern, Tabak und Leder gewandelt. Dazu Noten von feuchter Erde und Pilzen. Am Gaumen samtig und rund, mit aufgeloesten Tanninen und einer erdigen Tiefe, die an den Waldboden nach einem Herbstregen erinnert. Die Saeure ist noch praesent und haelt alles zusammen.

Magnumflaschen reifen langsamer und gleichmaessiger — dieser Wein ist der lebende Beweis dafuer. Perfekt fuer einen besonderen Abend zu zweit, zu geschmortem Wild mit Preiselbeeren oder einer reifen Kaeseplatte mit Nussbroten.
